About Querkus
Querkus by Decospan is a collection of decorative oak-veneered panels that celebrates the natural texture, warmth and character of real wood. Carefully selected oak veneers are combined using Decospan’s mixmatch technique to create harmonious surfaces while preserving the individuality of the wood. Designed for contemporary residential and commercial interiors, Querkus brings authentic oak character to architectural millwork, cabinetry, furniture and wall applications.
Querkus panels are supplied pre-sanded and unfinished, allowing fabricators to select a stain, oil or varnish to suit the project. Brushed surface options further emphasize the grain and give the veneer a distinctive tactile quality.
About Querkus Collection
The Querkus collection features 18 looks in three distinct ranges, from natural oak to contemporary earth tones and reclaimed wood character.
Natura — Six natural oak looks: Adagio, Allegro, Vivace, Adagio Infinite, Allegro Infinite and Animato Infinite. Natura celebrates the authentic appearance of oak, while the Infinite options offer increased consistency in grain and colour for larger projects.
Terra — Nine nature-inspired tones: Crema, Macchiato, Latte, Grigio, Cammello, Mocha, Topo, Tartufo and Espresso. This range offers a palette from light neutrals to rich, deep browns.
Vintage — Three reclaimed-oak looks: Harlem, Hoboken and Baltimore. Distinctive marks and natural variations bring the history and character of reclaimed timber into interior spaces.
Product Information
Querkus decorative panels feature a genuine oak veneer face and a veneered reverse over an MDF or chipboard core. Manufacturer-listed panel formats include 3050 × 1220 mm, 2800 × 2070 mm and 2500 × 1240 mm, with veneer thicknesses and configurations varying by collection. Other cores and sizes may be available by request.
Panels are offered in Exclusive, Select and Basic grades, depending on the desired appearance of the reverse side. Coordinating Querkus flex, veneer sheets and wood veneer edgebanding are also available within Decospan’s product range for curved surfaces, custom fabrication and finished edges. Common Applications
Querkus is suited to interior architectural wall panels, cabinetry, furniture fronts, built-ins, doors and decorative millwork. Flexible veneer products can accommodate selected curved surfaces. Final use, substrate preparation and finish selection should follow Decospan’s technical and finishing guidance.
Common Applications
Querkus uses oak sourced from well-managed forests, while its Vintage range gives reclaimed timber a new purpose. Decospan offers FSC- and PEFC-certified product options; certification should be confirmed for the specific material ordered.
