About Shinnoki

Shinnoki offers prefinished wood veneered panels for architects and cabinet makers to design and create stylish and distinctive interiors. Unlike regular veneered panels, Shinnoki products are ready-to-use and as easy to work with as a melamine board, huge time and cost-saving but with the same unique look and feel that is typical for real wood veneer.

Thanks to the proprietary mixmatch technique and years of experience in product finishing, Shinnoki panels guarantee a continuous look without significant visual interruptions and color consistency throughout your entire project. Shinnoki is a complete program including matching panels, veneers and edge banding all quickly available from stock in 16 timely colors.

About Shinnoki Collection

Inspired by nature, Shinnoki consists of four trend color groups. They collect color tones and thus make it very clear for the architect to determine the ideal finish. These groups are presented by moods which are suggestions of appropriate interior elements.

Mood 1: sandy beaches – 4 natural tones  – “Find peace with these light shades, create space and let your project sparkle of purity.”
Natural Oak / Ivory Oak / Milk Oak / Chalk Ash

Mood 2: mountain walk– 6 grey tones – “Colors that appear only in the most particular mountains, rough and at the same time complex. The tones of Mountain walk give your interior asound but timeless character.

Product Information

Shinnoki is a total solution of prefinished real wood veneer surfaces including panels, veneer laminates and edgebanding.

Panels – 2790 x 1240 x 19 mm (4′ x 9′ x 3/4″ – 48.8″ x 109.8″)
Shinnoki prefinished panels are made up of a top layer of veneer, an 18 mm (11/16”) MDF core and a balance layer on the back for stability. Double-sided panels are finished the same way on both sides with the Shinnoki design and protection technology. They come with a transparent foil layer to protect the boards during transportation and handling that is simple to remove. Single-sided panels are finished on one side with the Shinnoki design. To guarantee the stability, a balance veneer is needed. Here it’s a technical veneer which is stained and lacquered to be a reasonably matching balancer pertaining to the front side. Both sides have a protective foil which is easy to remove. The single-sided Shinnoki panels are a great cost-effective alternative for application where only one side of the panel is constantly visible.

Laminates 2150 x 1000 x 1 mm (3′ x 7′ x 1/17″) or 3050 x 1220 x 1 mm (4′ x 9′ x 1/17″)

Shinnoki prefinished veneered laminates are made up of stained and lacquered real wood veneers laminated to a paper impregnated with a phenolic resin. The result is a firm but still bendable product that can be applied as easy as a HPL decorative laminate. They are ideal for applications such as interior doors and where specific substrates are required and thus a perfect complement to Shinnoki panels.

Edgebanding 0.6mm veneer or 1mm ABS

For seamless edge finishing, you can rely on our range of prefinished edge bandings in various colors and styles. There are both ABS strips and veneer strips available. The veneered edges guarantee a refined finish while the ABS one ideal for applications with intensive use.

Common Applications

Shinnoki panels are only suited for interior applications. Most common applications are home cabinetry, kitchen fronts, dressings, fixed furniture, reception desks, office cabinets, hotel closets, etc… Shinnoki is not suitable for horizontal use in kitchens, bathrooms or similar humid areas.

Thanks to the homogeneity generated by the mixmatch technique, Shinnoki is an extremely suitable solution for projects. Because the production of Shinnoki is centralized at one location and the product requirements are very strict, the different spaces within one and the same project will feel as a whole. In addition, you will achieve a surprising result with Shinnoki without any unpleasant surprises: the technical details, prices and finishes are known in advance and you can also tailor Shinnoki parts and place them on the spot during the completion of your project.
